This trek is situated in Joshimath district of Uttarakhand, it is 280 kms drive away from Haridwar. Chopta Trek

This trek sits in a wildlife sanctuary, so, it becomes obvious that the trek will be having a rich density of flora and fauna. You will be able to witness a large variety of Himalayan rare species of trees, flowers, birds, animals. Chopta is a small trek of just 3.5 Kms which can be done easily in 3- 4 hours ad you can stay for the nigh too in camps. The best time to do this trek is in the post- spring or summer months, i.e., from April to June end as the weather is pleasant and kind of warm there. You can visit multiple places in the Chopta trek like the world’s highest Lord Shiva temple, Chopta market and Chandrashilla peak.
